Corporate Design Strategy and Interiors - Melbourne - 700 sqm
In close collaboration with Eventbrite's local and global teams, Cradle Design was appointed to provide a corporate design strategy, manage and bring to life their first Australasian workplace. Working with project managers, Gattica Projects and a head contractor from Sim Built, the objective was to produce a modern workplace design that was both functional and collaborative, catering to the company's vibrant corporate culture.
Located on Melbourne’s iconic Southbank, Eventbrite required a transparent office environment that could extend to clients and visitors using the work space. From its level one vantage point, the workplace enjoys views over the Yarra River and south bank, providing a vibrant setting for the events-based company.
Cradle developed new work settings, work points and shared space to fully optimise use of the new workplace. As part of the corporate design strategy, an open meeting room was introduced for flexibility and connection to nearby spaces, while the installation of wall to wall Troldekt from CSR eliminated external noise issues. The finishes were selected for their performance, aesthetic and longevity. Work settings included comfy window seating for quiet work, open-plan meeting tables and meet rooms for collaborative work, as well as a large multi-function breakout area used for international team hook-ups to staff gatherings.
An added benefit of the space, the terrace extends the main breakout area outdoors and further connects the space to the busy Southbank boulevard below. A local street artist was brought in to add the finishing touches to the main breakout room, with a graphic depicting Eventbrite’s core purpose and culture.
At completion, the space aligned with Eventbrite's mission of bringing the world together through live experiences. It was delivered within the time and cost specified and provides staff, colleagues and customers a variety of settings to engage with, including the surrounding environment.
